Acceleration Alaska is the culmination of 20 years of research and program development. We utilize a science-based sports training system that has delivered real, quantifiable results to over half a million athletes, including more than 2,500 Olympic and professional athletes, no matter their age, gender or sport. It's a brand built out of a firm belief that there is a better way to train athletes, a better way to rehabilitate and a better way to maintain peak athletic performance.
Here are some of the althletes that we have had here over the past few years who have used Acceleration Alaska to reach their athletic dreams. 1. Rosey Fletcher, Olyimpic Bronze Medalist 2. Ally Erving, Liberty University Soccer If you come into Acceleration Alaska, you’ll leave faster, fitter and more powerful. You’ll learn the skill of sprinting quicker than you ever could over ground. You will improve your stride, your knee drive, your arm swing, your leg turnover, even the way you carry your head. You’ll be fluid and efficient, far more powerful and sustain your effort far longer than you ever thought possible.
Power is an equation, specifically force times velocity. Put another way power is strength during movement—at all speeds. If you want to jump higher, leap farther or move at warp speed the minute the gun goes off, you need power. You need to employ strength at speed in order to achieve your goal. At Acceleration Alaska, we train power. Our proprietary equipment trains you dynamically to work at peak power levels without putting unnecessary stress on your body. We consistently measure power to assess your progress and optimize your training for the best results. In short, we are not guessing how much you can lift or how high you can jump; we know those answers because we measure your power output throughout your whole movement, from take-off to landing. Acceleration Alaska takes you beyond strength by teaching you to move your strength: by putting strength in motion, you build power.
Agility hinges on your ability to control your center of gravity in all situations—quicker cuts and turns, maneuvering in traffic, separating from your opponent, tracking your opponent. Dynamic Stability means power in all directions and stability under all situations. We’re talking sneaky fast. See, you can be speedy and you can be powerful, but an athlete who is agile is always in position to make a great play. Utilizing our Plyo Floor, our resistance cords and our athlete development programs, we’ll guide you through progressively wider patterns of movement—what we call the Inverted Funnel Principle—teaching you how to maintain your center of gravity while performing more difficult movements that are essential to your sport. We train your weaknesses, and by so doing, your body becomes more symmetrical, all parts capable of responding equally. This is dynamic integration.
